The family

Jose quotes the job. Teresa keeps the schedule.

Jose learned hardscapes as a young man from people who had done the work for decades, and started Green Scene in 1995 with a single push mower. He still comes out to price and design the work himself.

Teresa grew up in Franklin and runs the office: who goes where each day, the hiring and the billing. When you call (615) 585-0280, that is the office you reach. Antonio Estrada keeps you posted while a crew is on site, and Cristian Garcia is often the one bringing the materials.

“Our promise? Truthful estimates. On-time schedules. No surprises.”Teresa and Jose Garcia

How a job runs

The part you don’t see later

Most of what decides whether a patio heaves or a sprinkler system leaks happens before anything shows above ground.

01

A visit and a written price

Someone comes out, walks the yard with you and leaves a written estimate, free and with no obligation. If you already have a plan drawn, we price it line by line. If you do not, our design team draws one.

02

Permits and the plan

Irrigation installs need permits and a backflow device, and fireplace and hardscape builds almost always need a construction permit. We pull them, follow your HOA guidelines and look at how water drains before anything is designed.

03

The ground comes first

"Step one is always stabilizing and leveling the construction area with the proper base material. It's not an option." That goes for a patio, a fire pit or a pool deck.

04

Tested, then followed up

Every zone of a new sprinkler system is run and checked before we leave. Antonio stays in touch through the build and after it.

In their words

What customers wrote to us

From Franklin and Brentwood homeowners, as they sent them.

“Jose and his crew did a fantastic job of installing 14 zones and over 130 sprinkler heads in a very landscaped yard. They were on time each day, very personable and worked each day until the job was finished. Some days they put in fourteen hours.”

Dr. James Hardie · irrigation installation

“I discovered Green Scene after making multiple calls to other companies. Jose showed up on time for our first meeting and was knowledgable, confident and honest.”

Josh F. · Brentwood

“Green Scene is exceptionally reliable, keeping in touch by cell phone or text messages.”

Alan M. · Franklin

“They removed a dead crape myrtle tree and a bunch of unruly holly bushes. They replaced them with healthy and beautiful new plants.”

Megan B. · Franklin

“They trimmed all of our bushes, pulled weeds, trenched and mulched all of our flower beds. They even did a great job cleaning up afterwards.”

Addison J. · Franklin

“I have had various landscapers provide services over the years, and Green Scene has been far and away the best.”

Jeremy C. · Franklin

“They also pruned our existing trees and shrubs. Their prices were competitive, and the work was excellent!”

Good to know

Before you call

The things people ask the office first.

Is a Green Scene estimate really free, and do I get it in writing?

Yes. Someone comes out, walks the yard with you and leaves a written estimate at no charge and with no obligation. If you already have a plan or blueprint, we price it line by line; if you don’t, our design team can draw one for the space and the budget.

Can one company handle my sprinklers, a new patio and the weekly mowing?

That is how Green Scene is set up. The same office schedules irrigation work, hardscape builds like patios, fire pits and fireplaces, and lawn and landscape care, so a customer who starts with a sprinkler repair can add a patio or mowing later without finding another contractor.

Which towns around Franklin does Green Scene work in?

Crews work across Williamson County, including Franklin, Brentwood, Nolensville, Thompson’s Station and Spring Hill, and in the south side of Davidson County: Green Hills, Belle Meade, Forest Hills and Nashville. The office is at 431 Mealer Street in Franklin.

Who answers when I call Green Scene, and who runs my job?

Teresa Garcia runs the office and the service schedule, so she or her staff answer (615) 585-0280. Jose Garcia, the owner, prices and designs the work himself. Once a job is sold, Antonio Estrada keeps you updated while the crew is on site and after it’s finished.

How long has Green Scene Irrigation & Landscaping been in business?

Jose Garcia started the company in 1995 with a single push mower, after learning hardscape design and installation from veterans of the trade. It is still family-run: Jose and his wife Teresa own it, and their crews now cover all of Williamson County and part of Davidson County.

Does Green Scene offer financing on a patio or outdoor fireplace?

Special financing is available for qualified homeowners on larger projects such as the patio packages. Ask about it when the estimate is written, and the office will explain the terms and whether your project qualifies before you commit to anything.
